The ODB4 optical distribution box is designed for indoor or façade distribution of a feeder cable to subscribers for FTTH deployments.
Main functions

  • Clamping* of a Ø 12mm max. feeder cable at the bottom
  • Clamping* of up to 4 subscriber cables (drop) Ø 4.5mm max. at the bottom
  • Management and protection of fibres and up to 8 splices
  • Indoor or outdoor wall mounting
  • Cover securisation with a Torx T30 type screw (key provided)

* Clamping by plastic collars (not provided)
Composition
The ODB4 incorporates an organiser equipped with a swivelling and removable adapters support (not compatible with splitter integration).
The cover is secured with a Torx T30 type screw (key supplied).
Cabling
ODB4 is optimised for terminating installation.
In the organiser, various coiling areas make it possible to manage the bundles and the 900μm fibres, connected or waiting, avoiding any incident when connecting a new subscriber.
The organiser is compatible with G652D fibre. It allows the use of SOD splitters, mechanical splices and field connectors.
The splice holder is removable and can be replaced with an ANT splice holder (capacity of 12 splices).

These accassory is necessary to fix the ODB4 box on pole with metallic collar (not provided) or with screws (wooden pole only, not provided)

The kit is composed with 2 T plates and 4 screws to fix T plates on box from inside.
