LANmark-6A Secure Lock patch cords are designed to meet the needs of specific applications such as:

  • PoE connector protection (preventing damage caused by mating/unmating under electrical load)
  • Theft prevention in environments accessible to public, such as hotels/schools/libraries...
  • Critical circuit protection; avoiding accidental or ill-intended unplugging
  • Patch Cord availability, for instance in meeting rooms
  • Redundant Copper links between FTTO switches
  • Connection of IP security cameras

LANmark-6A Secure Lock Patch Cords are available in 2 types:

  • With locking system on both ends - part number series N1LA.P1HxxxO77
  • With locking system on one end only - part number series N1LA.P1HxxxO7O

("xxx" denotes patch cord length in dm)

The locking system is automatically enabled when inserting the plug into an RJ45 connector. In order to unplug the cord from the port, a Secure Lock key (N1LA.KEY) is required to release the locking system.

Secure Lock keys are supplied in packs of 5 and are to be ordered separately (not supplied together with the cords !).
