The HMI panel is a 1U device that allows a user or integrator to interact with the LANsense software/database to retrieve information. The HMI can display trace information, work orders, alerts etc through its 3 LCD screens and may be used to input information via its key pad or to create audible alerts.
The HMI panel is 1U high and can be physically separate from the Card Cages that it controls and reports upon. There can be as few a one HMI per install or as many as one per managed rack - the system configuration is entirely flexible.
