GG45 Right angle 8 contact jack for PCB mount

Description

Description

Standards

EN 50173-1; ISO/IEC 11801 Am 1.2

Description

GG45 8C PCB jack is a new connector within the GG45 product family which allows especially active equipment manufacturers to make use of the new high performance interface invented by Aginode.

The GG45 interface is designed to allow higher frequencies than the RJ45 connector, which stops at 500MHz.

GG45 8C is specified up to 1500MHz, but supports also higher frequencies.

Application

GG45 8C PCB jack is a right angle female connector to be used for high speed data transmission applications, Cat 7 testing equipment as well as Cat 7 patch panels and cross connects.

Whereas the GG45 12C uses 12 front contacts and a switch inside to allow RJ45 plug compatibility,GG45 8C offers 4 non switched contact pairs to work with GG45 8C plugs resp. patchcords.

Inside the jack the 4 contact pairs are strictly isolated to minimise potential crosstalk and internal noise and to facilitate highest performance at high frequencies.

Compatibility

GG45 8C PCB jack is format compatible with RJ45 and comes with identical outer dimensions to facilitate the use of common chassis and connector housings.
