LANactive FTTO & DICE

WLAN is becoming increasingly important in offices, schools, universities and hospitals. New WLAN standards offer bandwidths of over 1 Gbit/s. This requires a high-performance infrastructure to provide the data. The established Gigabit Ethernet standard is reaching its limits with this application. Current WLAN access points already have a multi-gigabit interface.

The LANactice DICE ‘Digital Ceiling’ concept provides the ideal basis for this. In conjunction with the established LANactive FTTO concept, maximum performance and flexibility of the IT infrastructure is guaranteed. The Aginode XGigaSwitch is equipped with two 10 Gbit/s SFP+ uplinks and four 2.5 Gbit/s for connecting wireless LAN access points. In addition, four 1 Gbit/s interfaces are available for connecting further IP devices such as surveillance cameras, intelligent lighting or building systems (smart building).
